Every Friday night in Wilton Manors, a small ritual unfolds that we affectionately call “Group Therapy.” There’s no couch, no clipboard, and no copay—just a circle of friends gathering at a neighborhood bar for happy hour.

The rules are simple: leave the week’s troubles at the door, order something cheerful, and let the laughter do the heavy lifting. Stories from work, life, and the occasional dating adventure get shared over clinking glasses and playful teasing. Someone inevitably delivers the joke of the night, someone else tells a story that gets more dramatic with every retelling, and before long the group of friends are laughing.

What started as a casual meet-up has become a standing appointment with joy. For a couple of hours each week, the world shrinks down to friendship, music, and the comfort of familiar faces.
